Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Climate For All is a pre-launch company. We do not sell a product yet and there are no accounts. This policy will be replaced before anything is made available.

Who we are

This website, www.climateforall.ai, is run by the two founders of Climate For All, and we are the controller of the personal data described here. Write to us about anything on this page at [email protected] and one of us will answer personally.

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR.

If you contact us

When you use the contact form or leave your email we collect the email address, and, if you choose to give them, your name, your company and your message. Only the email address is required, because without it we cannot reply.

Purpose: to reply, and where you asked us to, to tell you when the product is ready.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps taken at your request before a contract, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our own business.

If you complete the survey

We collect the answers you give.

Purpose: to understand what the people we are building for actually need.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in researching our market. Nothing on this site depends on your completing it.

When you open a page

We add one to a counter. We record the date, the page, a broad category for how you reached us such as "search", "social" or "direct", and whether the device is a phone or a desktop.

We do not record your IP address: the function that receives the count holds it only in its own memory, to limit how often one connection can send, and it is never written to a file, a log, a database or the spreadsheet. We do not record the identification string your browser sends. We do not record the address of the page that referred you. Nothing about this count is stored on your device.

The result is a count. It holds nothing that identifies you and nothing that can be traced back to you. This is why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing here to consent to.

Where the data goes

This website is hosted on Netlify. What you send through the forms passes through a function on that platform and is stored in a Google spreadsheet that only the two of us open.

If you book a call, the booking page is Google Calendar's: what you enter there is handled by Google and reaches us as a calendar event.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we share it with nobody beyond the two providers named above unless the law requires it.

Both providers are able to process data outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we are in contact with you about it, and survey answers for as long as we are still building the product they were given to inform. Visit counts hold nothing personal, so nothing about them can be traced back to a person however long they are kept.

Ask us to delete anything you have sent and we will do it, and confirm it to you. Write to [email protected].

Your rights

Under the GDPR, and under the UK GDPR if you are in the United Kingdom, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict how we use it, object to our using it where we rely on legitimate interests, and receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. We reply within one month.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, normally in the country where you live or work: in France the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), in the United Kingdom the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), and elsewhere in the EU or EEA your national authority.

Changes

If we change this policy we will say so on the site. As the company takes a legal form and the product launches, this page will be replaced by a fuller one.
